Mine was built last week too. VIN 8002. Still at 3800, would love to see it by end of the month.
My dealer said they got invoiced a 2LT (SIM) that they didn't even order, they should have it by 5/13, so that means they are mixing inventory into production.

Just found out mine is *still* sitting in Whitby, at the graphics company.. for stickers.
The good news - and I got this from the guy in charge of putting the stripes on the Camaro's - they are all caught up and are not causing any delays as a result of applying the stripes. For instance, he looked up my VIN - my Baby's stripes were completed the day after they got the car... arrived with them on 4/22, completed 4/23 and still sitting there. The bad news - they have a ton of cars (mine included!) sitting on their lot.. completed.. and ready to go... just waiting for transportation! Mine has been there, waiting, since 4/23. He went on to mention that he's sent the information multiple times to the shipping/transportation company... each day he thinks the trucks will come... each day, they don't. Guys - what can we do about this?? fbodFather - is it typical for the transportation provider to not pickup ready/waiting vehicles?

Just tossing this out:
If you were an auto transit company, would you move cars for GM on a 30 day billing cycle in the month prior to what appears to be an imminent bankruptcy filing? Not me -- even with a contractual obligation, hard evidence of a company's inability to pay is grounds for breach. Hmmmm........ |

I'd love to share, really, but out of respect for the entity/person and the potential that they get assaulted by phone calls, I promised not to use any names. I will say this...
...I initially joined this board to confirm/deny the accuracy of information my dealer gave me, about being the ninth car made. The knowledgeable resources on this board told me it was likely not true, and they were completely right. From that moment on, I quit using the dealership for anything in the form off accuracy. Think about it... the dealer... GM.. their systems only show what the systems are told. So, what tells their systems what to show? In a word, vendors. In the case of the stripes, they are either done at the dealer or offsite at the factory. If you look at your window sticker, you'll actually see a couple of lines speaking to your car being shipped to an entity for stripes. This is the vendor they use for stripes. They use another vendor for shipping. THese are the breadcrumbs I followed. Knowing these breadcrumbs, and with the Camaro5 website as an underlying resource, you're in a position to know more than your dealer ever will. I'll say this, which should be self evident but these threads show how people can take the wrong tact sometimes, should you follow the path and find someone on the other end - BE NICE. BE COURTEOUS. BE THANKFUL. BE PATIENT. BE TACTFUL. BE COOL. Otherwise, you'll probably just be scr**ed (the saying about honey catching more flies than vinegar comes to mind).

Is the database and/or spreadsheet updating any more? Seems like they've stayed the same for awhile now.

Good question...
I can tell you that the one for Macon, GA- the Rally Yellow- it's at the dealership now and will be picked up tomorrow by it's new owner. It was ahead of mine and mine is now at 3300!

Woot. How come I can get my window sticker, but it's not showing up on your database? Also, Rosner's #1 car got delivered and it was in your database, but never showed up on the train spreadsheet. Weird ...

Ok number 9, that's something i can understand... but if you could find I your heart to ask for a fellow Texan, it's car # 3894... black 2ss with white stripes, there may be a case of beer in it for you (assuming ur over 21 (of course.)) I remeber hearing about you and how you were told u were #9, I was told in October by one dealer that if I ordered through them i would have it before Xmas... And it's true, we know much more about the cars than anyone at any dealership
