Ok, cooler temperatures and track preparation gave me my best BONE STOCK times yet. Temperature was about 72 degrees and humidty was low. I ran with the traction control and the other turned off. I also ran my best 60 ft time finally under 2.0 at 1.9880. The difference was the temperature and the fact that they were running bracket races for money and they prep the track. All my other runs were during test and tune where they do nothing to the track. So my best 1/8th mile ET to date is 8.5390...decent for an L99.

Car/Engine: 1SS/RS w/L99
Top Ten Class: Bone Stock
Tires used on the pass: Stock Pirelli ZR20 Summer Tires
Mods: None
R/T: ..0931
60': .20010
330': 5.5962
660': 8.5390
660’ mph: 84.5390mph
Name/Location of the track: Northwest Tennessee Motorsports
Date of pass: 9/04/20010
Weather conditions: 72 degrees
Brief Comments: First time running on a prepared track and it made a difference in 60 foot times. I registered my best 1/8th mile ET to date.

Good weather is the best bolt-on! Times updated. If you've been overlooked, apologies and please let me know.

I gave you new time slips and information, I should have been moved up to number 8 in the bone stock category. Thanks. Oh, I see what you did, you posted my times with the wrong name. Number 8 is my recent times with "Grand Pa" as the car owner instead of ParisTNDude. Thanks for fixing it.

  2. Bolt-Ons *without* Internal Engine Modifications. Includes cars with a modified air intakes, headers, ECU/PCM-tune, aftermarket clutch, non-stock rear gears, skinny front tires, etc.
  3. Internal Engine Modifications and/or Power Adders Same requirements as above but for cars with Heads, Cam shaft, Nitrous, Turbo, Supercharger, etc.

The Rules:

    Example:
    Car/Engine: 2SS/RS w/L99
Top Ten Class: Bolt-Ons *without* Internal Engine Modifications
Tires used on the pass: Stock Pirelli ZR20 Summer Tires
Performance Mods (if any): ADM Performance CAI, ADM Performance 160 Thermostat
    R/T: .8147

Brief Comments: What a night! Blew away the Challenger in the lane next to me and ran my best time ever.

  • Be sure to post your time slips. No slip = No update to the Top Ten list!

  • Potential qualifying times require posting of an image of the time slip (if you need help, PM me.)
  • Track times will not be corrected for weather or track altitude.
  • Any one can submit his/her times to this thread.
  • Only one time per member will be included in a given class.
  • If two people submit times identical to the hundredth of a second, the tie-breaker goes the higher mph.

Thanks Mike. We need to go to richmond together some saturday. My 275/45/r18 drag radials were spinning out past the 330 on 17 psi so i need a bigger tire or less foot!LOL

Most definetly! Uh oh.. I`m worried now all i have is nitto drag radials in 20 inch, i don`t have a converter though, so hopefully that will help the poor tires...lol.. Hey there is a track rental nov19th at VMP put on by a local guy on tidewaterracing.com. I am a member there, you should join and get in on the rental, 6 hours of racing, real good stuff. Here`s the link:

That sounds like a good idea Mike. I'll drop by that bar for a couple cold ones and go from there. My car may be at va. speed on nov 19 depending on thier schedule for my 427 stroker install.
