traction control question in a v6 m6

So I'm trying to figure out if it's just me or if it's the car but it seems that the traction control never goes fully off. Today we got our first rain since we've had the car so I thought I would go have some fun. And I swear every time the car really starts to get loose and go sideways it feels like the brakes get applied to stop the spinning This has also happened to me when it's dry going straight or trying to power slide. I know the car doesn't make a turn of tq for a 3800 lbs car but it should at least be able to keep the tires spinning all day long in a wet parking lot

Try holding the traction control switch down for a few seconds until the dash shows that Stabilitrack is off. This works with my automatic 2 LT. Proceed carefully...things can go wrong real quick without any controls in place. Make sure you have plenty of room with no obstacles around.

Yeah i just figured that out and was getting back on to say that I'm a dumbass for not remembering that since my C5 corvette was the same way! And yeah I know when to turn it off since I've had multiple other rwd cars that had alot more power than this one.

You'll have no problem getting your LS sideways with traction control off.
