Yellow Camaro '14 1LE - Middle East!

Hi everyone,

I purchased my camaro last month and just thought I'd post a thread with my adventures.

She was imported from America with only 8,000 km on the clock, I'm the first owner in the UAE.

Its a '14 camaro 1LE - has all the nice extra features like HID, back up camera, heated recaros and so on.

So far I've had the roof wrapped black,
Added small stickers on,
Next up is tinted windows and then will start tinkering with performance mods.

I initiated her with a nice wee burnout on a desert road:

A little exhaust test:

Some pics:

Had her parked up for no more than 30 seconds before she started attracting the local supercars!

First day at work

Plenty of room for my son in the back! (He loves it)

Home sweet home

First thing I did was book her into a track day and tussled with a bunch of supercars, was great fun but it overheated VERY quickly - sputtered into limp mode after 1/2 a lap! Once it cooled down, I was back on again, taking it easy every 2nd lap.

Kept pushing this 458!

Added a tramp stamp and a 1LE sticker that my friend sent over from the UK

I have video clips and regularly posted pictures on my instagram if anyone wishes to follow me @pomomp

I will also be uploading more video clips to YouTube.

Sorry for the huge attachments - I cannot seem to resize them.

More updates to come!

I did have a starting issue - the car would crank over normally but wouldn't catch/start. Been diagnosing that for the past few weeks,

Had to change out my battery as it was a dud and replaced the crankshaft sensor. I hope that solves the problem!

Will be keeping an eye on it like a hawk. I'm a little disappointed that this happened to a new(ish) car, I bought this so I wouldn't have these tedious issues. I'm posted out in the middle of the desert - almost 200km away from the nearest chevy dealer!

Had to navigate through intense fog to get there just to pick up a tiny crankshaft sensor. Was an interesting experience!
