Why did GM not put.......
275/40/20 on all 4 corners?
Clearly they fit up front. -Funk

Why does GM do any of the things they do? My 99 GP GTP had one heated seat, the driver's seat. Why not the passenger? It did no have heated mirrors, the Monte of the same year had heated mirrors and both heated seats. There are things GM does that make you shake your head.

To force understeer without compromising the suspension characteristics that could be easily taken advantage of with wider tires....just as they added to the Z28 built for the track. The majority of drivers prefer understeer in a panic curve situation. PS...the majority of drivers are not on Camaro5.
