Convertible Con

After 2 yrs I finally found a con. Cottonwood. It sticks to the top like it's a flytrap

Agreed, that stuff is brutal. Fortunately, I don't live near any. But I have parked in areas with Cottonwood and it's not good on a windy day. Good thing those seed hairs don't last long.

I get lots of cat hair on mine, it seems a stray cat (My Mother is feeding all the time) loves to lay claim to my car, I park it in a covered car port so the cat has access to it.

I have figured out an answer for it (other than shoot/get rid of the cat) and that is to throw a cover over it (just the top) I have a piece of canvas that is just big enough to cover the top of the convertible part, and several super strong magnets that hold it in place........it works awesome.

I am currently working on a way of enclosing the car port.

A lint roller works good at removing stuff from the top.

That is what I used

This thread was mainly just in fun as it was hard to find anything bad about the car

I use a small shop vac with a brush attachment to remove dirt and debris off my top. I also use it to vacuum out the interior.

I've got one of those vacs. Works great but the hose could be longer. Had a lint roller that worked great, a sticky roller thingy that you just rinsed off with warm water, but it wore out and I can't find another one like it.

Cold weather is a con too...my garage isn't heated and I have the top down 99% of the time...during the three days of winter we had here in Central Texas I couldn't put the top up because it was too cold.

You can get longer hoses at Lowe's or Home Depot.

Congrats on the drop top. Found mine a few months ago in Orlando.

Just added some vinyl to the hood.
