Tail of the Dragon - 8/25/10
I am planning on going to ride this road on 8/25/10. Anyone else that may be interested can join in. I will be coming in on the North Carolina side. I realize that since this will be a weekday and only 1 day before the Papa John's get together, that some folks wont be able to be off of work or may not want to have to clean the bugs from the car before the next day's activities, but the invite is there.

Have fun. I did it back in May and only got to do half due to the rock slide. Helluva ride to say the least....

yea i live in Cherokee, NC and its a badass road. i went through it the first time about 2 months ago in my car and it sucked ass. just because my girls friend rode with us and complained about the ride saying that "this car wasnt meant for curves. let me drive and you can see how it feels." it really pissed me off haha next time ill go by myself

Be ready for gas to go up by the tail so fill up way before u get there. I took the hell bender to the tail then some other road on the way back to Franklin. Cant wait to do it again.
