Can you control the gain from the head unit? I listen to lots of different types of music and I am constantly adjusting the sub in my other car. This would almost make the Sub worth the $$.

Oh yea, thats the other thing .
The sub has a gain knob you get to by putting down the rear seat. You can set it 50%-65% and pretty much forget it. Then you go through (depending on the music)some adjustment bass/mid /trebble .Louder sounds better, as funny as that sounds.Lower volume different settings. Then if you use your I Pod it has eq settings that can make songs sound different BOOM BOOM and really makes a more rich sound. No pass when seat down except very little on edges. |

Nice, I got my box yesterday. How do you remove "fir tree clips" without breaking them?

Using a trim removal tool. I didn't have one, so I just pulled the carpet molding off of the clips carefully and pulled the back through w a common head screwdriver. Was a total pita to do that way. I highly recommend a trim removal tool.
I am very happy with the sound it provides. Really rounds out the system. Sounds like it shouldve been there all along. Tip for those w a Lloyds trunk mat, leave out the factory trunk carpeting when you are ready to do the final mount of the sub to the car frame or it won't fit. I had a very hard time getting it to fit properly with just my Lloyds mat alone. |

Simply call the dealership to get your radio code should you need it. Codes are unique for each vehicle.

This sounds great....and it looks like it belong there the whole time. It looks like it was part of the upgrade bosten system, they just had to make us pay extra for it. Great bass and it really cleaned up the rest of speakers. The sound is clear and bassy.
NICE.....I wish I had it standard when I got the car. |

I think it sounds great.......... I feel cheated because it sets up very well, and I believed It should have been part of the original Boston Upgrade. You will not regret it, It sounds GREAT. You do have to adjust the bass, mid, and treble depending on the music, but it definitively clears up all speakers. One previous comment was that it was like addiding souround sounds to your car, IT IS. :ha ppyanim: : thumbup: |

Yeah, I cant wait. I started putting it in tonight, but I didn't finish. My torque wrench is in pieces, so I couldn't set the anchors on the floor.

You used a torque wrench, I just keep turning it with a regular wrench intill I felt greater resistance (kinda when something is all ready tight). |
