I must have the following things before taking delivery

Protective Plastic used for shipping still on the seats
Visual inspection of the car being unloaded
Visual inspection before and after the car is washed/prepped
No one joy riding in it before I take it home
Every option ordered to be equipped to the car and in working order
No dings/dents/scratches/misalignments
No extra added options unless given express written permission (even if they're free)

As for myself and personal belongings, (cash, driver's license, cell phone, digital camera, video camera and the day off.

Off the topic kind of question, but along the lines of current owners. Do they usually give a full tank of gas at the dealership?

Varies by dealer. Mine jsut gave me a slip of paper and told me to run across the street, fill it up and give the attendant the slip.

At the top of my list is a sun shade, since my car will be sitting in a parking lot (at the far end of course) in the hot sun all day while I'm at work. Also all new cleaning supplies (I think I'm going to try the Turtle Wax Ice first since although I love the pictures of the Zaino-cleaned cars it sounds like a lot of work). I will probably also pick up a car cover since I don't have a garage. I might also pick up some kind of seat cover to protect the leather since I wear jeans everyday (haven't found anything I like yet though).

OK...

Once I get a for sure delivery date I will be making an appt at the tint shop, ordering some sort of exhaust and getting a crap load of Zaino stuff. I don't currently use Zaino on the Corvette because it is a PITA on black IMO but I do use it on my dad's tungstun grey metallic Mustang and it works amazing so I think the SIM Camaro only ever get Zaino.

For the trip to the dealer I will be taking the trade, a check for the differnce, my camera and a cup to catch all the drool.

I have my skip shift eliminator, and SLP Loudmouth exhaust ordered. I have already set up plans to have painted gloss black stripes, and windows tinted the day after I receive it. My car was supposed to be here in May, then June, now they are saying July...who knows. BUILD THE EARLY ORDER CARS ALREADY GM...DAMNNNN!

LOTS OF micro fiber towels for detailing and keep a couple in the car for wiping off finger prints. I bought the Wolfgang fusion detail kit from autogeek.com. it is the best wax/polimer I has ever used. I also bought the black truck floor mats that cover all the carpet. If you can I would also get a car cover, really helps at keeping the dust off.
