V6 Isnt doing it for me guys..

Ok, well... Ive had the v6 for about a Month now, Have done a few modifications(Exterior).
And....

I regret not getting the V8:(

Can Anyone tell me any +'s to having the v6 over the v8?

Gas mileage aside.

ATM, i am very confused and every1 i know that has one has the v8.

It seems like im the only person with a V6.

the "Exterior" design of the V6 and V8 are practically identical...

if its driving performance yeah the v8 will give you that more power and can be more fun to drive...

The question is it about the v6 that is lacking?? 300 Hp is a lot of power...

It's the lack of torque that takes some of the fun out of it though...

no, After 1,500 miles, start modding

I know gas mileage is better in V6 but not that much unless your getting on her cause when the engines running on 4 cylenders its close to 24mpg but when you get on her she more like 16ish mpg. I was told the V6 runs best when you can keep the rpm up. I test drove a V6 and thought it seemed pretty powerful but didnt get on her much. But she definatl not as powerful as my V8 but still thought it was stougth.

It seems to be he's worried more about status symbol then actual performance.

Which is ok just pointing that part out. If you want the V8 then sell what you have and buy one.

Don't forget the '02 Camaro Z28 was 315 HP. You've got a 6 with 304 HP. Not too shabby dude. 0-60 6 cyl in 6 seconds isn't bad. BUT, if you're not happy, now is the time to sell unless you paid over MSRP.

If you're wanting the V8, sell the v6 quick and you can probably break even on it. Shoot, might even make some money lol.

www.chevy.com/camaro + tax, tag, title. You already started a thread on this... the answer won't change.

And if you're wanting to feel the performance, get the stick.

Thats what I was thinking! Cause unless his is lemon the one I drove was no joke! it wouldve out run anyhting I drove until I got mine! There is definatly big difference there but I think it would outrun 90% of all other V6s out there and some V8s already out there.
