Ok just weighed in the things I could simply remove from the trunk today like carpets, covers and misc., also removed my amp and sub. ( gutted the trunk for the most part) Removed an impressive total of 51# 0.4oz.

I will remove the rear seats and seat belts tomorrow after work. I will put the pics up soon of each item and weight on the scale. Some of these items are shocking as to actual weight once weighed.

Some items I had already off the car when I went to the scale with the car like the w/w bottle, the water catch side of heat extractor and other misc. items.

7/31/16-Current car weight without me in it, with 1/8 tank fuel..I'm at 3774# 3.6oz.

I really like what you are doing here. There are a few good threads out there on weight reduction. I even saw one guy at the top of the 1/4 mile fast list swap out to a motorcycle battery. Washer fluid is another weight saver.

Here is some weight I was able to reduce when trying to dump some weight when running on the 1/4 mile track.

This was done last year during the reveal of the 6th Gen at my friend Brad's house who used to corner weight his track cars.

This is without me in it, 1/2 tank of gas, CAI for mods.

After sweating like a whore in church , (humidity is at 80% today)I was able to to get everything out from the back seats to the trunk. I'll put the weigh in numbers together with pics tomorrow. Long busy day at work today and rush around to get back to working on the car this evening. Just finished.time for

4600lbs is ur car loaded with pssengers and luggage meaning max/gross weight. 3825 sounds great mine was a tad heavier stock but around 3850. Now its 3460 😁
