AAC Afterburners + Street Scene Spoiler installed!

Well, I finally got my AAC Afterburner tail lights installed and the Street Scene Spoiler painted and installed as well.

This is the 2nd paint job I've had done on the spoiler. I was going for a flat black loot as I have the LS7 Style rear fascia along with the hood and hockey stripes. Anywho first attempt was way to dull (came out grey) and looked nothing like the LS7 paint job or the hood and hockey stripes. The 2nd attempt (pictured) is too glossy now imo. :/

Worst case if no one can get the flat black look right in my eye, I'll just have it done VR. I know a lot of you won't like it (as flat black), as everyone has their own opinion on what should be what color etc,. but this is what I like I was going to have some vinyl done later that would connect the hockey stripe on the sides, to the side of the street scene spoiler. But thats later on!

And thanks to Jonathan@AAC for hooking me up on a great deal on the Afterburners!

Here is a picture of the LS7 style paint job before the Street Scene Spoiler install.

And here is a picture of the front end of the Camaro

Thanks.

Well I had them (AAC) install the afterburner halo in the taillights first.
Once I got them, it's pretty easy. Basically, there is a connection plug that comes from the halo and connects to the included AAC inverter box, that inverter box then has a red and black wire which you need to connect to the harness that powering the tail light bulb. There are 3 wires there. A black, brown/purple (depending on side), and then a green or yellow I can't remember.

You connect the black wire from the inverter box to the black wire in the harness plug, and then the red wire to the brown/purple wire (like the driver side is one color, the passenger side another color). That is telling the halo to turn on with the parking lights. On the harness plug, black is ground, brown/purple is parking light, and the green/yellow is turn signals. So you can wire it differently if you want.

Yeah I think that's it. Pretty straight forward. But I'm writing this off memory I can take some pics for you when I get home if you like.

X7's were CCFL, I say "were" because I bought these off him almost a year ago.

Is it just me or is there a hump in the center of your spoiler just above the bowtie...?

No hump, it was just lighting/shadowing. But I ended up switching spoilers to just a stock painted flat black.
