OBX Headers dynoed before and after....

I have the info you guys all wanted...
Just left the shop that did the dyno runs...

I never dynoed the car stock so I have no info on what it made stock but I did dyno it last week with the CAI and Catback (NO TUNE)

Results are 351RWHP/358RWTQ

I then put the OBX Headers on the car (NO CATS)
I came back to the shop today, again we just ran it with no tuning

Results were 376RWHP/384RWTQ

CAR PICKED UP 25RWHP/26RWTQ (NO TUNING)

Here is the interesting part, we then tuned the car and it only picked up
6RWHP/11RWTQ

Results after tuning 382RWHP/395RWTQ

So it seems the OBX are for real, just wanted to pass the info along to guys that were interested in the results

Time to go to the track....
Next up, converter change...

How do they look quality-wise? Ease of installation? Did everything fit properly?

Thanks for posting your results!

That is exactly why I haven't gotten a tune! How was the A/F?

The tune does help but I can understand why HiComp might not wanna waste the money right now and in time I am sure he will do it.

The car was lean down low but not dangerous, then got rich in the middle before going alittle lean up top just before 6000..Again not dangerous, I ended up with alittle more timing in the lowend for some extra throttle repsonse and we tweeked the A/F a smidge at the top, leaned it out some in the middle..

The VVT stuff is trick and after looking at the software I am keeping it and will go to a VVT specific cam which with tuning I believe can be manipulated for alittle extra power.

Bottom line these headers are artwork, fit perfectly and make power..
The only drawback is no cats (WHICH I COULD ADD LATER) and we dont know if the Chinese SS will last.....Time will tell...

I have the OBX headers as well and the quality is excellent. The fitment is perfect. I hit 400 RWHP and 402 TRQ and after tune 413 RWHP and 401 TRQ. Check the sound clips.
I had two guys helping me and it took about three hours but we took alot of beer breaks....LOL

You posted only peak gains, which don't tell the whole story. Can you post dyno graphs?

You know it's quality when you can only find it on Craig's List and ebay.

Dont you have better things to do then go to every thread and shit on someones info about these headers. You have made it clear you dont like them, so why not stay out of peoples threads trying to post useful information.

I understand what hes saying. I understand the complaint. Yelling it over and over isnt going to get you anywhere. Going to every thread on the subject and shitting on it is just plain retarded. Hes said his mind in the main thread on these, let it stand at that. No need to follow it around.
