They've got the downpipes welded up and they LOOK GOOD imho!



The welds are looking good. All stainless including the welding rods, with ceramic coating. It's just money...



Today they were working on the waste gates. I know, it would have been cheaper and quicker to dump to atmosphere, but I hate that sound (getting old).



So, she's finally looking complete. Still waiting on the IC, but tomorrow they should have the tubing done. If they get it Monday then I should be able to pick her up Wed.

We will definitely dyno it and I'll post the numbers. Unfortunately, the track closes at the end of the month and I don't see it getting done by them.

My buddy was having his clutch replaced down there yesterday, so I took him to pick his care up last night. STILL NO INTERCOOLER. Bell has quit returning phone calls and emails. It ticks me off because we just wanted the core, but evidently they convinced the guys at Polk they could do it faster. Well, Wed. delivery turned to Thr. and now it is Saturday. Since Polk is closed Sunday and Monday, the best case is they get it Tuesaday and get it done by Wed. I don't think that will happen, though. Looks like sometime in December now. May just cancel the order with Bell and buy a core from someone else.

Okay, now way before thanksgiving. They said Bell would deliver the IC on 11/17, then 11/18. Today they said it will be late next week.

Between the paint work I had done and this project, I've been without the car for 6 weeks as of Saturday. The reason I went to the extra expense of doing the V-band is so they are easily removed, so I'm having them go ahead and make the pipes to go from the headers to the mid-pipes and remove the turbos. That way I can drive the car over the holidays and just take it back when all the parts are there. Hopefully they can finish it off in a week. Should have waited until they had all the parts to begin with, but I didn't think it would take this long to get the intercooler.

I've added the prices to the original post.

Still waiting on the intercooler. I had them go ahead and build the pipes to connect from the DT headers to the midpipes so I could drive it while we wait. Bell is now saying 11/30, so I'll probably drop it off again on 12/4 and I HOPE we can put it on the dyno 12/11.

Outstanding build can't wait for the dyno numbers. hopefully vince can do something about the fuel... with all the hurst cars maybe this will help all of us with tunes.

Too bad about the intercooler, 3 pages of reading and I was getting stoked waiting for numbers, lol. Looks like we are all waiting with you!!

Can't wait to see this completed. Arkansas isn't all that far, might have to drive down and check this beast out in person!

Thanks! I hope to hear something today or tomorrow. You are welcome to come down, or we could meet somewhere like Branson (I go there every once in a while). Also, rumor has it the 1/4 mi. track in Memphis will be reopening, so that's a possibility.

Nope, we are waiting on everything before we do that. I wanted to go ahead and put the meth kit on and run it at 5 psi, but they were afraid to try it.
