Midwest IRS Shootout May 5th in Wichita KS
Hey guys,
We are putting on a Midwest IRS Shootout in Wichita Kansas May 5th. The race will be ran along side a very popular Street shootout race that is held every year. This race brings out some very big names and some very fast cars. Expect to see some 7 second street driven cars at this event. Past events have brought out some really heavy hitters and all are very fast street cars. It's a great time to hang out, meet new people and you can check out our products that will be on display. We are also interested in picking up more sponsors to help add to the payouts. One of the classes we will have is an IRS class. The class will be broken down into divisions depending on how many cars we have sign up and it's looking to be a huge turnout. There will be 2 classes, Power adder and Non-Power adder. All IRS cars will be grouped together in one big IRS class. GM Camaro G8 CTS-V (and CTS) GTO Corvette Ford 03-04 Cobra Any other model might be grouped with Cobra Dodge Charger Challenger Magnum Possible import IRS class if enough interest You can also race in the Street shootout classes if you want. Rules: All cars will be required to run DOT approved tires. We are contemplating on a slick class.. All cars will be required to go on about a 30 mile cruise with the entire Street Shootout convoy to ensure the streetability of all cars. Specific class rules can be found at the True Street Shootout web site http://truestreetshootout.com/ It will be updated with more information as we get everything finalized. Let me know if you get signed up or will be coming so I can keep a list of who all will be there. You can contact us or the contact us link on the web site for questions. I'll put this on the short list. Right now the car is going through its winter build. This is close to the house, but it's during my busy time.

Cool guys! If you are for sure going to make it, please send me a PM and I'll add you to the list.
It's cheaper to pre-register, the web site should be up and going with registration any day. Thanks Chris |

I'm wanting to race in the Non power adder and Power adder classes. What will I have to do when switching from class to class? Am I going to need to completely remove the nitrous bottle every round?
Nevermind. I see you guys grouped everyone together. No need in running the non power adder class. Is there a tire size limit? Last edited by Sam88gta1; 03-01-2012 at 04:21 PM. |
