Most of the magazine articles I have been reading lately have the SS ahead of the Mustang.

Chevy wants to offer a long warranty on the LS3 engine, so there are performance compromises. Could chevy make a quicker camaro using the LS3? YES, but so can you. Just read up on all the modifications available and inform your parents that they will now be assuming the factory warranty.

Other than that congratz on your car, and either way i still love the camaro and dont plan on getting a Mustake any time soon. And like emin said chevy is not gonna want to make their Camaro as fast as the vette, they'll lose sales.

Its a drivers race, between two manuals of course. The 5.0 Mustang also basically has full exhaust out of the box, the Camaro with full exhaust will beat it.

You also have to remember Chevy has the Camaro and Corvette, Ford just has the Mustang. Thus Ford can make it as fast as they want without having to worry about dethroning their real super car, like Chevy does with the Vette.

So this is why the 2011 vette should be faster letting the camaro ss get factory 4.10 gear upgrades

So if they want the vette to still be the super car maybe they need to upgrade it a little so then they can upgrade the camaro a little.
