Wait until the Z** comes out. I bet we see PDR and Recaros then.

PDR = Performance Data Recorder which is found on the C7's. But does anywhere really care about this? I've tracked the C7 numerous times and have used it once just to try. Quality of a goPro would be better.

I agree... After reading the thread "what would you do to your Camaro" PDR would make sense in z51 but not the ss.

I still think PDR is pretty cool. GoPro can record video but PDR records video with performance data, and it's all built in.
Would I pay for that if it was available on Camaro? Maybe not.... I would pay for option I use a lot. This isn't something you use daily.
Before I ordered Camaro, I was seriously considering ATS-V and my intended build didn't include PDR.

I agree with Bhobbs: I think Recaro and PDR will become available with Z**, and comes down to SS as an option the following year. Or maybe it will become available for 2017 for SS as well.

PDR just sounds silly to me. Complicated. Expensive. Entertaining. And, silly. Go get an old G-tech! Lol

If you can't or don't track the SS, that's a shame. You should. The car is made for it..."Track Ready", "Track Capable", etc., is what the car is developed and designed for. It's a major part of the price tag...Hell, half the threads now are begging for track info and results...

...Yes it should have PDR...

"Most people won't track it"..."I'll never take it to the track"...etc., Those arguments are weak and sad.

PDR looks like a great tool for those that track their car, saying that it's pointless is a little ignorant.

PDR is awesome. Not only can you record but it also gives you a ton of data as well.

This is one of my laps at CoTA in the ATS-V and CTS-V. There's a program you can download called Cosworth Toolbox that provides you with the tool to analyze the data. you can literally pull up your video and do any adjustments right there between sessions. It's a no-brainer for a car that will see ANY track use.

PDR is pretty cool in a few other GM cars. Think some of you don't know all its features or used it. PDR and MRC I thought would have been options together, maybe later with better wheels/tires for a new trim or option package.

Raising my hand on this one. Guilty. I had no idea it was that "deep"!

Thanks for the pics, GearheadSS.

Its a mixed blessing we don't have it. On the Corvette you have to get PDR to get navigation and its an $1800 option.
