I hear ya about the floods. I lived in Glendale AZ about 30 yrs ago. Who would think that it would flood in the desert. I remember a storm in Feb that overflowed the river (can't remember the name of the river) took forever to get across the river. Any how I've only had the K&N installed for a couple of days and really haven't had a chance to test it out the way I would like. Hopefully this weekend. So far I'm happy with it and I think if I had purchased the Ingen I would be just as satisfied.

What a useless post on this thread. Zero relevance to anything being discussed. There are 1000 other "Best CAI" threads out there, this isn't one of them. But hey, congrats on the +1 for your post count.

That's definitely true haha. Well, still this is an idea worth exploring. Thank you for the pic and the clarification

Red10 thanks for the insightful comments your a fool Here's an independent Dyno by a member Note the HP gain at 5500 rpm It's in excess of 10hp! with just the K&N intake. The run with the corsa gives him a couple more. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ht=K%26N+Corsa Has any one done a dyno with the injen that exceeds this ? Anyways the washer came today looks like a neat set up won't try to put it in till Sun going to the air show at Jones Beach today and yes the pics are coming Last edited by boxcar; 05-29-2010 at 05:51 AM. Right you are John
But as we've seen the increase of HP from an exhaust is marginal I suspect most of that gain is from the K&N. But that is an assumption on my part Do you have any Dyno's of just the Injen? |

Here's a pic. My first time around I used black insulation, this is the CGM
version to match paint job. Doesn't look great but more ponies is what I'm looking for |

Installed the washer yesterday. Took about 45min. I hung it from the back
of the strut housing you can't even see it unless you look for it.For those of you that are concerned about the looks of your engine this is another advantage over the ingen no nasty water bottle front and center. here's a pic of the kit. I actually used the pump from the stock WB. It fit right in the bag and my guess it's better quality than the one provided.Seems to work great.I didn't cut the rubber hose so I could go back to stock easily if needed |

Sure I'll post another from the side but I'm not sure there's much else to
see. If anyone who's not to confident in there wrenching skills would like a step by step of the washer bottle removal I'd be happy to post it. It's very easy. I'd REALLY like a K&N or Airaid guy to try this. I don't want to sound like a cheerleader for this project until somebody else chimes in with there results. all I can say is it appears to really wake this car up |

I just installed the Typhoon and noticed the sealing issue also. I have an LS so I have no foglights and am considering using your seal remedy along with opening the driver's side foglight and routing a tube up and connecting to the heatshield.
