question on window tinting - Which one is recommended - I hear ceramic is the way to go but is the most expensive, metalic can interfere with the Onstar (anyone had issues with this) or then there's the bog standard cheaper tint - any problems with that one?

TX Pony Killer, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Thanks for the info... I was actually asking about an address for the tint shop that mlee recommended, but i plan on joining the h-town club as well. I just haven't done it. I am too busy checking FedEx every 10 min. to see if my CAI has arrived.

UPS at least always comes to the house at the same time. FedEx is a crap shoot.

Where are you located? I had a buddy take my car to his work.. Mossy Nissan, and the tint guy did a killer job for me and for a decent price too..

I also had them paint the back panel between the taillight area, and shave the bowtie.

Did a killer job on that too.

I took it to Houston Tint (it was much closer to my house). Went with ceramic. It's only been a few days, so i will reserve judgment until everything cures properly.

Where do you Houston guys take your cars for service (warranty, oil changes, etc)?

I really don't have the time to change my own oil... i wish I did.

Recommendations?
