Anyone Near Yorktown Heights NY (westchester) Willing to teach me manual?
Hey guys! I'm planning a Camaro purchase in the next few months. I'm trying to decide between getting an M6 or an A6. I've test drove the A6 and had a blast, however, I always hear how great manual is. I've driven manual once before in a Mazda 3 (in a parking lot) but it was only a 15 minute go and I didn't get to learn much. I don't have access to a manual car and sadly non of my friends/family drive manual :O
I know its a stretch to ask, but, would anyone around my area (yorktown/croton on hudson NY) be willing to teach me how to drive manual in a big parking lot? I have a flawless driving record and am very responsible. Thanks guys! Connor. |

I'd get an A6. An engine tune with an A6 forget about it! Will make it feel like a manual and you'll get great performance.

I'm not so much worried with performance. I'd be getting a V6 anyway, plenty of power for me! It's more about the driving experience. Everyone I talk to feels more immersed in their driving with the control manual gives. That's what I'm looking for. I love driving in general with an automatic. If it can get better than it is now, I'll take it!

If I lived closer I'd go driving with you :(. I'll mention a couple things, first off I own the M6 and I couldn't be happier with it. Next the days where there was a performance difference between the auto and manual has dramatically lessened. As it stands now the A6 and M6 run about the same. I personally will always be a manual person (no matter what PQ has to say ). In the long run get what you want and if it's the M6 then go for it as regardless of what transmission you get you are going to love the car .
