GM gave me a rattling muffler, so I got the GMPP mufflers FOC instead of putting the stock muffler back on, saving me the grand had I ordered them when I put in my purchase order last year. They sound great, MPG up 1.3, I can feel the torque in the low end, when I tickle the pedal she kicks me in the pants a little harder, the tone is a little deeper and just a little louder, plus plus plus all the way. Congrats on your new ride, come home safe, thanks for your service.

Desert Dog, CONGRATS and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Congrats on the decision! If you're used to the road grabbing Vette or Porsche, you may also want to look into suspension upgrades to make it handle more like the cars you are used to. For me, it handles better than any car I've driven, but test results show that it can not compare to any of the high end rides you have owned.
I never thought my exhaust was quiet. It sounds wonderful when you get on the gas! I did notice that the CAI gives you more of dualing exhaust sound as there are no sound deadening resonance chambers in any of the aftermarket kits. So that alone makes your car sound louder. My wife swears that my exhaust sounds louder as well, but I am not sure as to how switching out an intake will make the exhaust on the other end of the system sound louder! I bought the CAI Inc intake as it was tested twice by the Janetty guys versus tens of other competitors and it was always in the top tier performance-wise and did not require a tune. I can't make any exhaust recommendations and I'd take any video clip sounds with a grain of salt. If you have any friends with Camaros or know any guys that own shops, it'd be best to actually listen to them in person.

Be careful when changing the exhaust system. There are many options available from obnoxious loud to a little louder than stock. If you do not want ANY drone (resonance) and a very good sound, the Corsa cat back system is a must. I tried two others before I got the Corsa. Love it.
I personally like the Rotofab cai. Great product, great company. Enjoy your new car.

I'm sure you've rattled around here
