After downloading the pictures and taking a close up view, it really doesn't look that bad after all. And I see the suggestion about the roof C pillar being too large and changing the location of the filler cap. The fenders are a little less squared at the top and makes less room for the gas cap, too. If that allows for more interior space, then it is well worth it. I hope they still can find a way to change the headlight layout if quads are the final idea. I think I could live with quads if it looked more like the setup on a 67.

maybe better?????

Thank you sir, that will be a "Z" for me!!!!!!

I about fell out of my chair laughing. I knew it was coming but that was very well put Scott.

You have a way with words and a sinister streak for toying with people. I'd say we're pretty alike in that respect, but you have a power I'll rarely, if ever achieve. Keep the good times rollin'.

Fbodfather can you say if we'll at least have a nicely styled gas cap like the Challenger instead of just a plain fuel door? I think my disappointment over it being moved from the top to the side would be eased a little if we at least got a gas cap that looked similar to the concept's. Thanks. Oh and a question about backup lights. Why couldn't you put them at the ends of where the longest license plates would stretch to, so on those plate they would look like the Corvette's, and for our plates they would just have a bit of a gap between them? I'm still worried how they'll hold up in a parking lot mishap.

That was me, thanks for answering that! I mean it's cool, the backup lamps are where they are. Ok, not beating a dead horse here but you're going to have to have two different rear bumpers made anyway, right? 1-US & 1-Europe, to compensate for plate length. all right, i'm done with that topic.

Did you just legitimize camero as a working member within General Motors, who's actually affiliated, somehow- with producing the new Camaro? If so, he just became my new best friend!

Fbodfather... One more question. I heard that GM will produce 30 Camaro's in October of this year, can you say what the reason is for this?

I'm actually more dissapointed that it's a plain fuel door then I am about it moving.

Look at post 50 and 51 of the photoshopped only pix thread. There's two pix of the concept w/ the cap cap moved from the top to the side....not a fuel door...just cap location moved.

Thanks for piping up, Scott. Hilarious reply on the engine part too!

I do have a question, though...Is there a specific reason the bumper was chosen to house the lights? I'm curious to know why they didn't integrate them into the other brake lights.

He doesn't know me or even my identity, I'm almost sure, but I'm sure glad he didn't yell at me for posting too much or anything! Anyone can tell by now that I know the car just from reading my posts! I was sure the gas cap thing would have removed all doubt! Why is it even hard to believe that someone that worked on the design team for 3 years would be interested in what people that love it and want to buy it would say about it.

You've already seen the gas-cap and the backup lights. The car is done! Stuff like that has been done for way over a year. The backup lights meet the 5mph test... all GMs do.
