I'm not buying that argument. Year after year, the competition has offered their pony car in 2 different shades of blue. Does blue only sell if it's a Mustang? It ain't gonna sell if it ain't settin on the lot.

Yes, I did, thanks. Typing from my phone and having to pause to get my son a couple of times (9 months old crawling all over the place) and people responded while I was typing. Just as I edited while you were typing.

I'm with you. There is another blue, SEMA blue or something, that I think looks great. It has been posted a couple times before in IBM replacement threads. Wish they would put that out. I could also live with the Electron blue.

I actually made the comment to my wife how hideous it was and why would anyone want that ugly color. Then I saw it in person and it was nothing like the site render....and I ordered one lol.

The govt buys alot of domestic vehicles in blue so I know they make a killing off that. They just dont produce a lot of the eye popping blues like ABM

They need to bring back Le Mans blue. Can you imagine a Le Mans blue ZL1?! I'd sell my IMB SS, my supercharger, and take out all the equity on my house for that.

and its just a shade lighter than ABM. I think it could easily be done.

Here's an interesting sales chart by color for North America, 2009. This is for all vehicles sold that year but does show where blue finishes overall. That's why I don't by the premise that blue doesn't sell.

Other cars do not matter we are talking Camaro here.

Alright how many shades of blue are in the line up for 2012?

SIM, Summit White, CRT (interim avail), IBM (interim avail), Black, Ashen grey ( interim avail), VR, RY, and IOM

An interim is a temporary pause in a line of succession or event

Seems as if BLUE and a couple other metallics are temporary for the time beign

BTW this is the color line up for 2012 Camaro with the exception of any SE car
