True , but when you roll them in to little balls; it's not going to be that much.IMO , it's better than eating a regular cookie or something along those lines. I haven't tried it yet, I just saw it tonight, and figured I would share it with everyone else here. I normally have 1 dark chocolate truffle at the end of the night (5 are 180 calories per the box), and I just cheek it to make it last longer.

Just a comparison (for calories sake alone), if you made the recipe and rolled them into 6 balls as shown in the picture, they will be about 316 calories each 3 "chips ahoy" chocolate chip cookies are 160 calories. The reason for that HUGE difference, is how much fat (although good dietary fat) are in nuts. Also, 3 cookies will have 10 grams of sugar. Those balls... still have 8.

Update for me... down .6 pounds! 183. Only about another 8 pounds to go!

I like to get chicken/mushroom/onions/green peppers! Gotta have some of God's tasty little animal friends on my pizza! How did you make the crust? Do you make your own sauce too?

I put Canadian bacon on mine 11 slices, chop them up = 40 calories. We usually make our own crust if we have time but if we don't I just get the wheat crust from the store, its 120 calories per 1/6 of the pizza, but we cut our pizza in 8th's. As for the sauce = 2 cans tomatos sauce, 1 tiny can tomato paste, 4 or 5 chopped garlic cloves, garlic pepper and italian seasoning.

Is that 40 calories per slice? Or 40 calories for all 11 slices combined? Because I think it's more like 40/slice, which puts you at and extra 50 calories per slice of pizza

Ah... they must be very small I don't know what kind you're using, so i had looked it up real quick and found these

http://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nu...n-bacon-cooked

http://www.livestrong.com/thedailypl...anadian-bacon/

Both are just barely over 40 calories per slice What are you using?

At the time she told me with weight loss and exercise, I couple reverse it. At my last blood work, I was 5.5, and she told me my diabetes was gone. She did not use Cured or controlled, just gone. She told me keep the weight off, continue to exercise and it will not come back. I will try and get a more clear answer on if I am still a diabetic, but controlled or if it is gone.

I have been getting blood work every 6 months for the last 7 years. My wife, who I met 8 years ago and married 6 years ago on May 6th is a stickler for preventative medicine and regular check ups. If she had not pushed me, I would probably have waited like you did.

She has told me to test my blood every other day for the next 6 months, more as a preventative. I had been on 500 MG of Metformin every day, but she has pulled me off of that. She wants to confirm that going off will not have an adverse effect. I have been testing every morning in the 85-95 range for the last 6 weeks. I am not 5 days without the meds and my sugar has not going up when I test. The concern is more for my liver. My ast was 261 and alt 380 6 months ago. Now they are at 58 and 115. She is continuing to monitor those as well, but with the metformin out of my system the ALT should go down below 100 in the next 6 months.

Your not being nosey. I have learned one strong fact in the last 3 months. I needed to be healed accountable to someone other than myself to help kick this journey off. I am now self motivated, but it talk my Mother-in-law and Wife both beating on me to kick start this journey.

As for my wife, she also started a weight loss with me and has done great. She just ordered online a bikini in small and it came in today and it fits!. She is ecstatic. I am proud of her.
Thank you for the reply hopefully mine will work out as well as yours you have been very helpful.
