On the current stang a 3.31 axle is standard.
the offered upgrade is a 3.55 limited slip.
If you opt for the Bullit package (or the GT500s) you can get a 3.73 limited slip

I really like to see something in the camaro with some real teeth.

the G8 is available all the way up to 3.70:1 i believe and being the same chassis and differential as the camaro, id say it'll be around that which should be pretty fun.
