Problem with a driveshaft by PST ( Precision Shaft Technologies )

I wanted to see if anyone on the forum has ever had Problems with a drive shaft manufactured by ( PST ) Precision Shaft Technologies. I am right now in a dispute and need to know who else has ever had issues. We may all be able to benefit from knowing...

Is the Ds part of G-force 9in kit? If so, I would get hold of Chris and not PST.

Way past that point. Have been in touch with both. Chris has washed his hands of the issue saying its a PST problem not his. Don't aggree seeing that he sold it as a kit...

Just want to see if other's have had similar problems. I have built a winning case and just want more ammo...

They sold PST in the past. My problem came from a shaft built about a year ago. Just noticed that GForce has changed this.

Wonder Why???

We still sell both PST and Dynotech shafts. Both make a great product.

advfire hasn't told the entire story here, only his side. There are a bunch of details that would have to be disclosed from several different sources that none of us would want appearing on an open forum.
This matter has gone into the hands of the attorneys and court system so everybody should be very careful of what you say here.

He was offered a full refund upon returning the driveshaft (and kit) for inspection to either us or PST and he has never done that. This has been playing out now for over a year now and we still have not seen a single photo of a single damaged part.

I don't imagine anyone will post up about any major problems they have had with a PST shaft, they are a well known company that makes a great product.

Thanks
Chris

Chris,

What you say is 100% correct and I'm not disputing it in any way. The Drive shaft is evidence at this point and has been available for your inspection in our presences at our location. Yes you did say you would refund the cost of the kit upon return but will not cover the damage the defective part caused, if fact you requested the return with a hold harmless. You can guess why we did not accept.

We have had the car and all parts inspected by 3 private, independent, and reputable shaft companies ( one of which you use and recommend ( dynotech )) and all have found the shaft to be defective product. All material of damage parts including pictures and videos have been forwarded to your attorney's.

What I needed to do in this forum was to communicate with other people who have had similar problems and issues with PST. I have to say the overwhelming response off board has been incredible, and I thank ever one.

Eric,

My attorney has not seen a single photo of any parts nor have we got an invitation to see any parts. I'll ask him tomorrow but I've asked numerous times about this and so has PST.
You only had the driveshaft inspected, not all the parts. A defective driveshaft after it survived 2 transmissions grenading on the dyno does not prove that the driveshaft is at fault. Sure, it might be bent or damaged now but that does not imply that the driveshaft did the damage in the first place, it may very well have been damaged from the transmissions grenading.

Your installer said it did NOT vibrate at all on the dyno.
Your installer, on 2 separate occasions had the transmission come apart from the engine causing massive damage. This is all from his statements.
We do not feel that the driveshaft could of caused this if he did not feel any vibrations from the driveshaft on the dyno.
