No mods and plan to keep it that way. Launch control is a cool feature once I got the nerve to try it.

What did you guys buy the car for if you r not goimg to experience it . 155 mph 5th gear 5500 rpm it loves every second of it. enjoy it.

In my 4th gen I hit 130 on the I-80 in a 95 mile stretch of nothing between Laramie and Rawlins. It didn't seem that fast since there was nothing and no one to compare against along a very flat grassy plain. That's the fastest I've been on ground I believe. May have to break my personal record after my new car arrives.

I don't know of any places here I can go that fast other than the speedway, maybe an airport if I can make buddies with the controller or put a huge wing and a propeller on my new car and call it a CamAero.

130 on Strom Road east of town with 250 miles on the odo. Deserted road. 4th gear very easily. I read my pcm. The governor is set at 155, but why would you ever need to go faster? I'll probably never do it again except at the track after it gets a maggie next week!

OK, so I used 'just a little' juice to make it quicker. Hey, baseball players have gotten away with using a little juice for years without getting caught!

Anyway, I did hit 155 with it wide open in 'middle of nowhere' Arizona.

I thought going 135 in my Trophy truck was fun; nothing compared to the Camaro!

Definitely have a Camaro (#8464) and it will hit 155 under the right conditions with no mods. Had nitrous installed for some additional fun
