Do G8's have this issue? Isn't it basically the same rear end?

One question, all of this transmision problems are in V8 and manual ones or v6 automatic too?

I am thinking to buy one but I am scared about that because I will ship it to Europe (Spain) and I want to avoid this future problem due the lost of the chevy warranty.

I will appreciate your answers

Thanks

lol sounds like skyline gtr syndrome. nice gm!

sorry but this is so messed up and yes i will blame GM people are paying good money for these cars, after all the quality checks and delays they are still problems left and right. its just not cool... if they needed to skim on money for the tranny parts they should have deleted launch control.

you broke your right axle shaft back -order for a week or 2 you could repair your axle shaft at a jobber garage, but slow down until new parts arrived, you are lucky it is not yet the output shaft of the tranny

so should be a relatively easy fix if parts are available? would this cause transmission fluid to leak? cause it was definately leaking

cv shaft has nothing to do with the tranny.

unless your case is split on your tranny then its either the tailshaft seal or just some gasket leaking.. but take it to the dealer itll be free and under warranty.

They gave you the wrong shaft. The larger shaft is only for the right side.
