Question Loud whinning noise comming from rear end !?!?

Hey everyone I just wanted to see if u guys might have an idea of what could be wrong with my car! This last weekend I noticed that my car was making a loud whinning noise coming from my rear end! I just tuned my car about 2 weeks ago because I installed headers on the car. My car does have full suspension also but that noise was never that loud. It is very noticeable now when im on the fwy and im giving it gas. Didn't pay much attention as to what RPM I was at when it was doing it but it was very noticeable. A loud whine coming from the rear end! My car is a 2010 SS and just bearly hit the 14K mile mark! Is this something that will be covered by the dealership under the powertrain warranty? Will they give me crap because my car is now tuned or no because the rear end has nothing to do with the tune? When I did my suspension I did notice the rear endnoice but nothing to how it sounded this last weekend! before it was very faint and now its pretty loud? Any thoughts on this?

Hello BAWLZ SS,

Sorry for your current vehicle issue. I would like to step in if possible to lend some assistance. First, if you could, please send me your VIN and accurate mileage. I will pull up your vehicle to see what information I may have. Secondly, in regards to your tune, they do not automatically void your warranty. The issue you are having has to be found to be a result of the issue to warrant voiding the warranty. We would do that through a diagnosis which I recommend we get done. I can locate a dealer nearest to you and set up your appointment as well.
