i hope this isn't normal
hi everyone, i recently noticed on my car that it looks like the door is either pushed in, or the rocker is coming slightly out. i wanted to know if this is normal or if i should have this looked at. also if this would/should be covered under warranty because this should not be happening on a car this new. pics attached

That's how mine is.
GM fit and finish leaves a lot to desire.

The rocker panel needs adjustment. Check and see if you have some play. Should be a simple fix.

Mine are a nightmare. Worse than that. I should take some pics one of these days.

And I thought the Chargers had it bad..
I raised a similar issue up @the dealer and they took me around the lot to look at the new ones. A lot of them had mis-aligned panels that looked worse than mine (although they were nice enough to give me a rental while my doors were being re-aligned at the body shop. I had to spend a good 2+ hours with them to prove my point (even showing how each door made a different sound when closing) Seriously, I dont understand how the folks over at Brampton (Chrysler plant) and Oshawa (GM plant) allow these vehicles to pass final inspection after assembly.. |

Mine aren't that bad but it is noticeable. Check out how they install, remove and reinstall the doors. The only QC inspection they show is for leaking, maybe more was done off camera but it's not enough for sure.
