Good morning. The first round of the rain is past my location already but more headed our way with temps dropping. We are under a winter weather advisory starting at 3:00. we are only expecting around an inch of snow but that is enough to make idiots come out & make a mess of things for the rest of us. Looks like we lucked out on precip today, The moisture missed us but the cold is coming anyway. It was a sort of busy day but I got all my notes done. One more day of work then.................eating.

Another brutal day at work today. Since I didn't accomplish much on my schedule, doing some OT tonight. Claire is working, so I don't mind doing the extra time.

I'm up & getting ready for one last day of work. Likely some clients won't show up even though I called them all. It is weird that folks will always say the will be there but then don't show up. I have called folks ust an hour before the appointment & had them say "I'm on my way". then not show up. Just tell me you are not coming. It won't hurt my feelings.

They are having a Thanksgiving meal today at my dad's assisted living facility today but the always have it so early I can't make it unless I manage to get off early. If my last client does not come I will go but otherwise I'll just go but to see him tomorrow.

My pittiful laptop is gradually dieing piece by piece. Part of the outside covering is cracked, it has to be cleaned out frequently or or freezes up and now the "J" key does not want to work. I have to hit it several times & eventually it will work. Problem is a lot of my stuff is getting old & needing to be replaced. Can't get everything at the same time but for sure I need a new one.

Time now for coffee & a shower then off to work. HAGD all.

Three nights in a row of putting in some OT. But I have gotten WAY caught up!

Highways around our airport are jammed. Local news keeps showing live shots. Pretty amazing. Guess there will be just as much traffic out on Black Friday. We usually just stay home. Back in the day, I would camp out for concert tickets, but there is no cheap TV in the world worth camping out for.

I've got turkey prep and cook duties tomorrow. This will be the third year in a row for me, as Claire has worked Thanksgiving eve nights three years in a row.

Oh yeah, and the ladder comes out tomorrow and Friday to put up Christmas decorations! I'm no Clark Griswald, but I put quite a few lights up.

Good Morning Friends. It was colder here this morning that any day all winter long last year. I hope that is not a foretelling of the sort of winter we are going to have.
Coffee time then off to the in-laws to eat Waaaay too much food.

Winter is officially here and if this is any sign it's going to be a long cold one. We typically don't have this much snow so early in the season. This was my drive home from Thanksgiving dinner at my brother in laws house . Looks like I will be clearing the driveway again tomorrow. Glad the Camaro is safe in my garage as it's pretty slippery out on the roads.
