Can't stay away (almost twin 4th gens)
Long story short, I almost sold my 2002 Camaro SS (with 18,000 miles) last summer... decided to keep it, and this summer sold our G8 and got a new to us daily driver. Picked up a 2002 Camaro V6 Convertible with 80,000 miles a couple weeks ago. Got me wondering if anyone else owns 2 Sunset Orange Metallic 2002 Camaros! I could be the only one!
I changed the cloth seats to leather the next day. Even he wife was begging for that! Found a set on Craigslist in great shape and picked them up for $400. License plate bracket is gone now too -- need to fill the mounting holes and paint the cheapy grill. I'd like to get the SLP bowtie grill and the same wheels I have on my SS.. but trying to keep myself from putting too much cash into it since the point was a lower cost daily driver to enjoy... oh yeah, also fixed the fenders where some fool jacked the car up in the wrong place and popped them out. used the ole' 2x4 and hammer method i read about before buying the car.... |
