Pretty boring episode in my opinion.

For how many times they mentioned "American Muscle Car", you think they'd have shown us the V8 power plant.

Even the turbo 4cyl would have made for a more interesting episode.

They didn't cover LT1 I think because they covered it in C7 episode. Same engine to them.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Im surprised they aired it with the camaro production being so new. It likely had the same theme as they did when they aired the 5th gen being built...i think that might have been mega factories.

With the new Gen 6 Camaro it sure will be easier to purchase parts since you can then go to either Chevy or Ford to buy your replacements!

You can check the compression by rotating the crank, I don`t if this is how they check it if they even do that at all.

Did anyone else notice this? In the beginning they were talking about the return of the Camaro in 2009 with the 5th gen but they were showing the new 6th gen.

Yes! I was like wait a minute... that aint not right. Long live 5th gen! But the new car is amazing from a mechanical and performance increase stand point! I am very happy to be part of the Camaro Famiglia!

The part where they attached a guide tool on to the automatic transmission and then said that helps precisely align the valve body as it is dropped in place I found interesting. It seems that after the guide was released just as the process continued the valve body slid some. Was thinking maybe that was an early production shot and did not have that alignment process step perfected yet, ha ha. Maybe they should have re-shot that segment.

Overall the Natl Geographic megafactory GEN5 tour was much more thorough in showing the build (20 minutes vs. 45 minutes makes a big difference).
Also, the body tolerances seemed to be higher precision to me at the "old" megafactory; new looked a little rough, although they did point out they are continuing to fine-tune.

It was kinda boring. I actually feel asleep. The voice was very monotone. Good thing I recorded the episode. I don't know why the V8 was not spoken about and it was focused on the V6. Could have been better. Maybe speak about the aero and lighter chasis or something.

Boring episode I would of liked to see more of the interior production not just a dash and some bolts.
