As much as I wanted the Camaro, 2 doors just wouldn't work for the wifey and toddler. Needing 4 doors I just put a deposit on my 415HP 6 speed monster G8 GXP

I have a 95 4runner that i take my kids around in, the camaro is strictly for the wife and I to drive, (well me to drive her to ride in) You can get a nice DD for under 4k that will last.

Congrats on the G8, you won't be disappointed. That markup is kind of ridiculous, but the GXP's are getting pretty scarce so I guess you can't blame them.

After swearing I would never purchase a black car due to all of the black vehicles I work on, I have my new black GXP. Unfortunately the paint was swirled up and scratched from the dealership washes etc. I picked up the car on Thursday afternoon in Louisiana and all I could think of during the drive back to California was the swirls!! I spent all of today (Saturday) polishing and sealing the paint.

**Disclaimer** Any pictures where the paint looks hazy or looks like holograms it is just the polish streaking as the humidity was not in my favor.

I agree. If you wanted the Camaro, you should have gotten the Camaro. But, you still have a nice looking car.
