i saw that then said it looks blue blk, but now that i have someone else thinking that it looks gunmetalish i guess im not crazy

Might have to look at that ink color though.....

EDIT: need opinions on stripes - white or matte black? Or maybe even a darker shade of blue???

I was thinking the same thing (thank god for the search forum feature.) Many enthusiasts get caught up in engine specs (not saying its a bad thing), but to me the paint scheme is just as important to a car of this type.

Same here. I will be very disappointed it they don't have it. I guess I would have to go with a Millenium Yellow(or what ever is closest) with black stripes....to match my vette.

They don't call it "ink" slate. But my Cobalt is Slate. And it is a bluey-black color. The blue lightens the black a bit so it's more of a really dark blue-grey.

I find these color choices hard to believe. Where are all the classics? The LeMans Blue, the Rallye Green, the Hugger Orange, and the Daytona Yellow?! The yellow offered is too school bus yellow, as someone mentioned. And there's a complete lack of green. If this Camaro is suppose to celebrate the historic 1969 version, then it should at least have these colors as options, in my opinion.

I agree with you, but Scott (fbodfather) has already stated in threads elsewhere that this color list is not accurate, some colors there will not make it and some colors that will are not on it. My avatar shows that I'd be interested in the Rallye Green (but I'm not holding my breath).

There is a unique blue color that was on the silverados around '01-'03 that I think would look good on the camaro. They may still be putting this color on the silverados for all I know. I don't know what it is call, but I have the code wrote down for it somewhere because I also want this color on my '88.

Remember that we build many vehicles at Oshawa -- and there are paints on this list that will not find their way onto Camaro. Further, there are paints that WILL find their way onto Camaro that aren't on this list.......
