Chicago Caravan to C5F (2011) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Let's put together a list of members making the trip. Let's figure this out to see what we need to do to get us all there in one bunch.

The estimated time for the trip is 27 hours. We have two options for routes from St. Louis onward: go west on I-70 and hit Kansas City before heading south or hitting Springfield on the way to Oklahoma City and heading west from there. The latter route would take less time, but we could hit up some quality barbeque in Kansas City and rock out with our Jayhawks out in Lawrence on the former route, eventually going through Liberal and meeting up with the other route before Albuquerque. This route would also use more country highways than interstates. Let me know what you guys think.

How is it that every region in the US and Canada wants to go to C5F, but we have 2 people going in Chicago? Let's make this happen!

The New England and East Canada convoys are meeting up in Dayton, OH the night of the 11th... If you get a group together it shouldn't be too difficult to join them as they head west.

I've got to get that group together first. I figured some of the C5G guys would have come in here. :(

I just called the Fairfield on price St. and they are soldout For 4/14/15/16

Booked at the Fairfield ,, called the Courtyard and they said Fairfield was soldout.
This time I called Fairfield and they have rooms.

Is anyone from the Great Lake area going to C5F2?

Do you guys have any routes/hotels set-up yet? We have a group traveling from Ontario and we are looking for some caravan options.

I would love to go, but can't justify spendin WELL OVER $1000 on this trip.....It is between $700 & $800 just in gas to get there and back for me, plus hotels nights, food, entrance fee, etc.....TOO MUCH for me and now..

We are headed west !, we'll have the 70' rolling Revolution Garage with us as the Caravan Support vehicle. Blur are you still planning on going ? We are thinking of leaving the 12th around noon.
