It's Not a Happening Thing

Looks like Australia will not get the Camaro until (MAYBE) 2011. Maybe not at all unless some small private company imports them and then converts to right hand drive. The cost would probably be around AUS$100K.
Actually there is a small company in Queensland (In Australia) that imports Corvette's, converts them and charges just over AUS$200K per car.
Houston we have a problem.
All we can do is drool when we see the pictures that are posted.
Have fun with that awesome piece of machinery.

Crikey! That's too bad mate. Open a Foster's, and throw (well, you know).

Hang in there, it's good GM will be making RH drive models.

When GM gets cranking, I'm sure if there is a market, they will sell it there. Seems unfair since the G8 is made there.

IF that's the case then the UK will suffer the same fate. Well that sucks.

Well both the Aussie's and UK could just correct their driving habits and drive like the rest of the world!

Is it legal to drive left hand drive cars over there? There's some right hand cars here.

back when the Indy gathering was happening, I specifically asked if the car was going to be a "world car" and when could the world expect to be getting theirs and then posted the answer here on Camaro5... we've known since then that the car was not going to be ramped up to full production and world delivery until the 2011 model year... North America gets their cars first, South America should be receiving cars around January of 2010 and the right hand drive cars should begin production (assuming no delays) in the summer of 2010 as 2011 models.

this is not new information... and it was confirmed a long time ago.

The only cars that can be driven in LHD are the so-called 'vintage' registered cars. These are cars that are greater then 20 years of age.
