#1 Priority, stuck at 1100, am I Alone?

I am number one priority at my dealer. There are no constraints against my SS.

The dealer assures me that they have a March Allocation for me, but my order is still at 1100 and has not been pulled. I want to know if I am alone in this, or if there are a lot of us out there with this problem.

I have been told over and over that it is good to go, but I have seen nothing that actually proves it.

HELP!!!!

Few things that it could be.

1. They have everyone at priority 1 and chose someone else's order even though they said they submitted yours

or....

2. They really don't have an allocation for March

or....

3. There is still time for your order to be pulled for March production and GM just hasn't got to it yet

here, let me pull out my magical book of allocations and build sheets to find exactly when your car will roll off the line. then I'll have to bump that against my magical shipping lists of when the vehicle will actually be delivered to your dealer.

just relax a little.

You have to keep in mind that there are a lot of factors besides just constraints and what you ordered. Some smaller dealers didn't get any allocations in the first consensus. So #1s at other dealers may get their cars before you get yours.

My dealer put all preorders at #1 priority. I'm #8 out of 11 spots. I'll be waiting a bit longer.

I understand that...But their GM says.."yes we have a March build definetly, and it is yours."

Well, could be one of two things: they do have a March build and it will be yours, but perhaps your order isn't updated yet. Or your dealer is FOS.

I will roll up on that dealer in my own black suburban. So I am guessing I am alone in this problem? WTF!

Did they tell you how many total allocations they had?

I believe there is like 15 or 17 total....They sell a lot of vettes, and there are mustangs everywhere!!!

Doesn't matter anymore, My order has been accepted as of this morning with a TPW of March 23...WOOHOO.

My words of advice for anybody having problems....Light a fire under your dealers AS$

Yea, I was the 1st V8 at my dealership and they were allocated 15 - got 1 pulled for production.

Big surprise, it's a V8 and it isn't mine. I figure they are giving my car to someone else who is either the dealer or knows the dealer very well. I'm not bitter MUCH. I expected this to happen.

If they don't pull me for April production, then I'm gonna have to whip someone's ASS!!!

I am priority #4 at my dealer (allocation of 27) with 2-V6 ahead of me. I'm 1100 as of today but was told my order will be sent in the week of 3/12. I assume that means I'll be 1101 and the process will begin running. How quickly can I expect to go from 1101 -3400; one week, two weeks?
