Question Who's got a true story about bleeding.

Everyone appreciates stories with lotsa' blood. The news broadcasters have a maxim by which they accord importance to stories they report: "If it bleeds, it leads."

We wanna' know the bloody tales you can tell; if you can keep 'em true to life, that would be best.

I'll start simple. This morning, as I awoke, I found my cheek glued to the pillow. It seems I had a bloody nose in my sleep. Yuck. I recall that I had dreamed about boxing with Mike Tyson that night. I suppose I oughta' count myself lucky that I hadn't lost an ear in my sleep!

I personally have a lot a bleeding stories. I can't even count how many times I've had stitches. Last time, I stuck my hand in a move fan and almost lost a couple of fingers. I now have no feeling in either one.

As a career firefighter with 18 years of service, I have more stories about this topic than I care to remember.

So I won't ...

I'm going into my clinical rotation starting next week. I'm training to be a scrub tech/surg tech. I'm sure I'll have my own stories soon.

5th grade, The first girl in the class to get her period. We were in gym class bouncing on balls and she was wearing white jeans. They needed a mop.
