License Plate Frame…close, but no cigar - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I know exactly what I want for my license plate frame, but can't seem to find it. I want it all black (preferably metal, but plastic is fine) with a red outline bowtie…nothing else. Just nice simple and clean. I found the one pictured here and it is exactly what I want besides the fact that's it's chrome and not black.

Any sources or other ideas to achieve this is greatly appreciated!

Make it and make sure the frame you buy isn't to big at the bottom, it might hit the lip below the plate on the bumper.

I also added the two plastic snap-nuts on the bottom (mine didn't come with those) and added thick rubber washers behind the plate to space it out...

I sure hope the Camaro you plan on putting this frame on isn't black. I think a black frame on a black vehicle would look funny.

I have an issue with approving license plate frames on my car. I ended up getting a $110.00 frame from a C5 member for $80.00 that was painted to match my Camaro.

Check with Empire Motorsports. They are licensed with GM and make some really cool stuff.

They started out as a truck based company and are expanding as the market allows.
