Ok so I'm one of those guys that DO NOT like chrome! So I have the hurst comp/plus 2 shifter and want a brushed look to the chrome stick. My question is can it be scuffed with some scotch brite has anybody done it??

It could, yes. Not saying it will look good. Why not just go back to the stock knob?

I could but I like the stick just not the chrome. Im looking for an industrial look ( and or mechanical) . I have a Polish aluminum ball shift knob and do not lick the contrast with the chrome

You might want to see if you can just buy the stick from Barton. Their shifter sticks are bare aluminum. It might give you the look you are after.
