Well, it made it

Dang digital cameras don't show the orange very well, but it is ORANGE. Very sexy in person. Great tranny and clutch feel, visability is great and sun roof clearance ok (6'2"). Neat trick on the window down a crack when the door closes to equalize pressure! Hope it is ok at 155

I notice on http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=23000&page=2 discussions about the front bumper color. I did not notice mine right off, but it is for sure off color. But some folks around these build dates better WATCH THE DOOR FIT (see pics) Dealer has worked on for a day and not much luck. Body shop guys trying now. They have been great and I bet they get it fixed
Midnitght silver wheels once poliched do show some black reflections from the black inside of the wheel, so they are good.
Any one waiting on ground effect? The dealer said shipping packaging had to be changed so waiting on reship? Maybe another thread. But I'm not doing the "official" title until the ground effects are on and the door is right.
Over all, while waiting an extra day or two is no good, walking in and seeing it pampered in the show room and the overall look is SUPER

Congrats on the Camaro...hope that door gets fix for you too! Terrible it was shipped like that but at least you have the car, just a little fixing now!

Sorry guys- it is that way for sure. Dealer worked on it a bit yesterday, but now the body shop guys get a crack at it to see if they can move the fender a bit. problem is the hood/fender alingment is perfect, so they can't really do much--so far. Anyone know what is up with the mismatched front color?

The front bumper mismatching can be attributed to the metallic nature of the paint. Its that or the bumper is being sprayed at a different time than the car and its being different.

Our 09 Malibu is Black Granite Metallic and no matter what you do or what angle you look at the front bumper from it looks like a different color. It seems more grey than the rest of the car. However, the bumper is EXACTLY the same color per a color gun at a paint shop.

That door is whacked! Can't believe that it was shipped like that. I really don't see the mismatch in color. Glad you are still hyped about the car! She's a beauty!!!!!
