Here's the list of car shows @ Carlisle, PA:
http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/index.asp The General’s continues to celebrate with the release of many new vehicles! The General’s 100 Year Birthday Celebration continues into 2009 and beyond. During the next century of life for GM, many new vehicles will see the light of day for the very first time, while some will be reborn. Either way, The General has mighty BIG ideas rolling around in their design studios. Join Scott Settlemire and John Fitzpatrick from GM along with a fleet of historical vehicles from GM’s Heritage Collection at the All-GM Nationals. Stay tuned! You will like the ride! The new 5th Generation Camaro is sure to be seen… In years past, the Camaro concept and Bumblebee served to keep the public fired up and excited about the return of the Camaro. This year we’re not sure where Bumblebee will be at show time. However, we do know the new Camaro sales tools were released to the dealers in October and production begins in February. With all that in mind, we’re looking forward to seeing lots of the new pony cars here in 2009. I can’t wait, as I’m sure Scott is beside himself with excitement as well. He will be here to share, so be sure to be a part of the All-GM Nationals, June 26-28, 2009. If you own an F-body (Camaro or Firebird), please bring it here so we can celebrate in grand style by seeing 1,000 F-bodies on our showfield. Scott & I, along with Rick & Karl from the American Camaro Association will be very thankful to you! CAMAROS AT CARLISLE The American Camaro Association… The American Camaro Association is anticipating hosting another very successful event to celebrate their eleventh anniversary of the Camaro Nationals here at the All-GM Nationals. 49 judged classes in 10 Levels, from non-judged to concours are offered for your special Camaro. Over 700 Camaros showed in 2008 and enjoyed being a part of history in the making. Goody Bags for Early Registrants, Hundreds of door Prizes, a Huge Classic Car Corral (Over 200 Cars), and Camaro Memorabilia Auction are all included. We are making the call in 2009 to Firebirds, the other F-Body, and sister car to the Camaro. Our plan is to see 1,000 F-Bodies gathering on our showfield. With the release of the new 5th generation Camaro, 1,000 F-bodies is a very real possibility! The ACA has done their part in gathering over half of that number every year. While we didn’t quite make our goal of 1,000 F-Bodies for Scott in 2008, we’re getting very close. We believe this could be the year, especially with a whole new generation looking for a place to showcase their baby. Plus, we have the folks from Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine stepping in to help. Super Cars! A display of legendary Super Cars Building G (by Gate 1) will be converted into the "Legendary Super Car Dealership" presented by the Super Car Workshop and sponsored by the Yenko Sportscar Club. You do NOT want to miss this simply awesome display of legendary super cars from “The Last Restoration Shop On Earth”! Check out some of the cars that will be on display at Yenko.net and in the pictures below. And speaking of super cars, rumor has it that one very special Chevy dealer will be delivering his first two super cars right here at the All-GM Nationals... How cool is that? Stay tuned for more details... Here is the latest news, hot off the wire… Helen and Nancy Gibb, wife and daughter of Fred Gibb, of Gibb Chevrolet, will be bringing their #50 of 50 Gibb COPO Novas to the All-GM Nationals. That will make three 68 Gibb Novas. Fred was the father of the 68 COPO Nova and the ZL/1 Camaro. This is a BIG deal in the Supercar world… And a HUGE deal in the All-GM Nationals world as well! Looks like we need to set up a Camaro5 meet! |
