Problem with Trunk not locking?
I have had our 2ss for nearly 2 days now and suddenly the trunk will no longer lock? The emergency release appears to be loose. I do not believe anyone has pulled it. Even if it were pulled by someone, how would you set it back to the standard position? shouldn't there be a spring to pull it back into place?
 Also, if I do have to access the emergency trunk latch release cable by pulling off the insulation/carpet cover, how do I pop the plastic fastners off without breaking them? Please help, we are itching to drive it more and we cannot drive it with the trunk open.  Plus, the dealers shops are now closed being that it's Friday afternoon.TIA |
