Problem with Trunk not locking?
I have had our 2ss for nearly 2 days now and suddenly the trunk will no longer lock? The emergency release appears to be loose. I do not believe anyone has pulled it. Even if it were pulled by someone, how would you set it back to the standard position? shouldn't there be a spring to pull it back into place?
 Also, if I do have to access the emergency trunk latch release cable by pulling off the insulation/carpet cover, how do I pop the plastic fastners off without breaking them? Please help, we are itching to drive it more and we cannot drive it with the trunk open. :( Plus, the dealers shops are now closed being that it's Friday afternoon. TIA |
