Why is Aqua Blue Metallics least liked???? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

It doesn't really have any green in it. I have one and the color is just an unbelievable blue color that is out of this world.

Heres my order of favorite colors.

1. Aqua Blue Metallic
2. Inferno Orange Metallic
3. Victory Red
4. Summit White
5. Silver Ice Metallic
6. Cyber Gray Metallic
7. Red Jewel Tint Coat
8. Rally Yellow
9. Imperial Blue
10. Black

I have seen Rally Yellow, Victory Red, and Silver Ice Metallic in person. So the others im just going by the pics. I did see an inferno Orange Colorado that was great looking though so I guess the Camaro is the same. Why is Black most popular too I wonder? I know its kind of a classic color for the Camaro but so are just about any of the colors and Blacks harder to keep clean. Just wondering not trying to make owners of the other colors mad because we all know this car looks good still in any color.

I love the aqua blue, but my husband and I decided on it because there are so many silver, orange, black, red and yellow ones out there already. He says we need to even things out!

I wouldn't say least liked, just least ordered. The color is one of the first things that people bring up about the car.

I think the majority of people are too afraid to have a flashy colored car - either because they just don\'t think it suits their personality, or because they think it will attract too much attention. I have gotten nothing but compliments on the color!

To be honest...the word "Aqua" scared people IMO.

Aqua is more of a "girly-80's-GEO Metro" color.

That being said, ABM is my second favorite color.

I agree, there is only 1.9% ABM ordered too. I have yet to see in person but others have told me that it is outreal to see physically, even better than the pictures or color strip of course!! I have mine on order with a 7/13 TPW so should be soon?

I think the real problem is/was the initial picture of ABM that GM produced.

Even when mine was getting towed on the flatbed after that &@%#@!# hit me... I must've had at least 5 people compliment the color. It's just that damn sexy

Yeah thats true^^^^^^^^ That second picture I have seen before and the color looks NOTHING close to that color that one is more greenish blue. The color is really nothing but pure awesome blue. I have seen a Jet Stream Blue Corvette in person and the color is even similar to that some too. It depends on the lighting its just such a dynamic color.
