Catch can - no oil being caught

First off I don't drive my car all that often and I have just under 2900 miles on my 2012 SS. I added an RX catch an about a year ago. I have changed out the drain hose with an open close valve. To date I have not gotten a drop out of the can. Normal? Everything is connected correctly.

I have a mike Norris can on my DD silverado and drain it each oil change and get at least a few ounces each time.

For the first 1500 miles the re cc worked but now I am not catching anything either and the drain hole is in the off position. I now have 3400 miles on my 2011.

How do you have it plumbed? Even a coke can with hoses running to it will catch something, as long as it's plumbed correctly.

Yea my apex can has about 35 miles on it, and 5 passes, not really any oil does have some metal flakes though probably just from putting in and taking out fittings trying to get the right configuration. Blew out my rear main seal because I had the clean side and dirty side t-fitted together going into the can to much pressure from boost and pop. Only running the dirty side with a check valve now and plan on a second can later.

Something must be incorrect with your installation, or you need to remove the drain to see if it has somehow clogged. Critical for ALL v6 owners through 2013 to do the drill modification.

The first time I tried to drain mine I also thought something was wrong because nothing came out as well, but I didn't wait long enough. The second time I tried (a few days later) I left it open for a few minutes and a lot of gunk finally slowly dripped out. I am using a RX catch can on a V6.

I am nearly 100 percent sure you have it on backwards. The middle nozzle of the can is the clean side which should go to the valley cover on the drivers side. The nozzle on the out side of the can is the dirty side which should behind the TB.

Are you a LS3 or L99? They attach in different places. Your lines appear to run the way a L99 should be.

This is for 2010-2012 L99: Im pretty sure your hoses need to be switched on the can itself.
