L99 1/8th mile runs

My car is a A6 L99, 1500 miles, mods are tune, New Era CAI and slp axle back

Let me start out by saying I cant drive worth a shit at the strip and that my 60' times are key.............

Car had 3/4+ tank of gas, stock tires on stock tire pressure, car is full weight and I weigh aprox 230, car in "S" mode with traction off

I did not heat the tires before the runs but I had to haze them to get the water off of them

1st run I spun hard until half track when it started to fish tail and I let off the throttle until it hooked
1st run- 60' (wish I could have duplicated this) 2.0872
330'- 6.1082
594'-8.7751
1/8th- 9.3480@ 78.55

2nd run , spun a little at half track and I took my foot out of it for a second

60'- 2.1718
330' 5.7848
594'- 8.1894
1/8th- 8.7218 @ 83.77

3rd and last run (took me 3 hours to be able to make 3 runs)

60'- 2.2871 (I wish I could have nailed a 2.0 or better here!)
330'- 5.8500
594'- 8.2371
1/8th- 8.7710 @ 84.28

I would guess the car has 8.4-8.5 in it if I could launch the damn thing!

My brother's duramax is hitting low 8's right now lol. I'm planning on taking mine to the 1/8th strip this weekend. I'm going to make pass after pass so no one will annoy me about looking at my car :/

A local guy ran 8.6 @ 82 mph with 318 rwhp/310 lb ft in Florida heat and humidity (but the track is close to sea level).

8.7 @ 84 mph would be mid 13s in the 1/4 mile. That's doesn't seem quite right for 341 rwhp/356 lb ft.
What's the altitude of the track?
just look at my 60's , I should be able to get a 1.9 out of it and did get a 2.0 on a crappy run

Yeah, I deleted my post. You need to get that 60' down. And when the weather cools (if you can find a way to hook up), you should run some good times.

That's a lot of people there... I don't think we have that many people in our whole town.
