Front Speaker Install Question

I could use some help! . I am finally installing aftermarket speakers in the doors. Years agosomeone posted a diagram for the wiring. My thought was to wire the Tweeter and 6.5 directly to the crossover and mount the crossover to the door. Run the crossover to the 6.5 factory wire inside the door, (tapping off the tweeter wire) they are the same colored wires. From inside the cabin run a new speaker wire off of (solder the aftermarket wire to factory) Tan/Grey which is what the Left factory tweeter and 6.5 are, to the amp. Will this work, trying not drill any holes and keeping this all looking nice at the same time. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

just get the plugs and wire from the 6.5 harness to the crossover. Only like 11 bucks. nearly every bestbuy has em. They are ford connectors xD PArt Number: http://www.metraonline.com/part/72-5600

Youre going to waste aLOT of time trying to get wires through the doors. unless your dedicated to doing so then dont.

unless your pushing more than 65wRMS Stock wiring is enough. and they will if you extend them. lop the connector off and make it longer.

The speakers are Hertz Mille I was going to bridge them at 200watts? My thought was to use the factory wire in the door to the crossover, then in the cabin, then wire the aftermarket 16 gauge to the factory and run the wire to the amps

What model number? 200w sounds a bit too high for those.

Rated 150wRMS per set probably. Pushing that much will probably damage them. unless it states PER SIDE, its per set. You do not want to push more than 100wRMS per side. Same set my bud has and were running 80wrms per side. A 1-1.4"" voice coil doesnt take more than 100wRms usually.

I was going to use bridge the 2 front doors to one channel at 4ohm 200. If not bridge at 4ohms it's 75 watts? Should I not bridge and use 2 channels for both doors?

Thanks bro, I forgot I have an old but never used Slash 300/4v2 amp, bridged each channel it pushes 150w at 4 ohms. Do you think that would be the better route, am also installing rear Hertz Mille 690.3 at continuous power they handle 130w at 4ohms. I could bridge both to that amp. Sorry for the all the questions, but i greatly appreciate your advice!

Make sure you do your LEVEL setting follow JLs guide. That amp is phenominal. i have a V1 300/4 and it does well. ITs a smidge higher but thats ok. IF you blow them then you need to not bridge them

Headroom is a good thing. Besides, in a real world application, you will never see the full 200 watts you were planning for anyways. I say go for it. The only thing you should be concerned about is sending a clipped signal to your speakers. Other than that, you'll be fine. Now...find a way to fit new wires through. That's what I'm going to do when my install comes together in September.
