Yup, and they are engineering it to be very profitable as far as cars go.
That would be a first for them, I think. Oh, I think the new Equinox is sexy-looking. AND, it's supposed to get Class-Leading fuel economy out of a new 2.3L Turbo 4 cylinder!!!!! (the best-in-class right now I think is 28mpg) |

Don't expect much...the RWD has been pretty much dropped with the upcoming CAFE regulations...I'd expect a new body style by 2011 (GM's 100th B-Day)
The Equinox looks sweet, but too similar to the Traverse. The Cruze looks good too...almost like a Malibu and a Jetta had a love child...Too bad we won't see it for a while. |

It's kind of hard for me to get excited about SUV's and sedans but 45mpg is awesome for a modern car with all its weight. I just can't wait for them to show us the redesigned Volt concept/prepro.

Those renderings of the Cruze really makes it out to be a sharp car.

The Cruze looks sharp, but to me it looks like a pumped up Malibu with the nose.

Is that one under the logo another angle of the Cruze or is it another car?

The future sure is starting to look good for the General.
I can't wait until we start hearing about how the Japanese auto makers need to start trying to keep up with GM. |
