Happy Anniversary Letter from GM

As tomorrow is my one year Anniversary with my baby, I just recieved a email from GM. Pretty cool I must say.

Although I never use it but to keep it complete I signed on for another year of OnStar, probably a waste of money but a present for her.

Quote:
Dear Chris,

Happy anniversary and congrats on your first year of Camaro ownership. We want to tell you how glad we are that you're in our Chevy family. We hope you're enjoying the kind of thinking, features and craftsmanship that we've built into your Camaro. It's what makes your Chevy more than just a source of transportation, but a source of pride. So to mark this milestone, we want to make sure you're still smiling and getting the most out of your vehicle.

One of the ways to get the most out of your Camaro is to visit the Chevy-trained Goodwrench technicians at your dealer when it's time for service. They know the Chevy vehicles they service inside and out and can help offer the right care at the right time. In addition, we hope you're taking advantage of all your OnStarŪ, XM Radio** and GM Card benefits too. And don't forget, your Chevy is still backed by The Best Coverage in America: a 100,000-Mile/5-Year† Transferable Powertrain Limited Warranty, along with Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation Programs.

Keeping you happy with your Chevy experience is important to us, and we certainly look forward to many more anniversaries to come!

Your Chevy Team

Nice, looks like GM is really trying to turn the boat around and exceed customer needs/standards.

That is really neat. OnStar is not a waste of money IMO.

Isn't that letter more of a sales pitch than anything else?

I agree with that. In the basic sense of it, sure it's advertising.

But I think, since we are all so attached to this car... this does kind of have a more sentimental 'touch'. Remember, there hasn't been a Camaro produced and sold to the public for 8 years... and we all are going to have our "1 yr anniversary"!

So write it off as advertising, or keep it as a momento... your choice. But I'll be sure to bring this thread back up when my year rolls around!
